Criminal Damage

There are 2 types of criminal damage to property in Georgia:

  • Property Damage Only-  intentional damage the property of another in an amount exceeding $500
  • Endangerment of Life- interference with the property of another so as to endanger life.

Criminal damage to property is a felony offense in Georgia, with property damage carrying a possible sentence of 1-5 years and endangerment of life carrying a possible sentence of 1-10 years.
